I had a fantastic day with our guides Paloma and Aurelio. It was simply amazing! We learned so much about Coba from Paloma and biking through the ruins was a great experience. Afterwards, we had a lot of fun walking through the jungle spotting monkeys. There was a small Maya ceremony before entering the jungle, followed by zip-lining, kayaking, and jumping into a half-open cenote with turtles and some bats. So cool! Everything was varied and beautifully organized. The food at a local family’s home was also super delicious and authentic. Overall, it didn’t feel like a “typical tourist trap tour” at all – but rather a truly special, eco-friendly experience. Highly recommended!

We had an awesome day with Paloma and Aurelio. Starting in Coba we learned a lot about the Mayan culture and history. Paloma told us a lot. We then went into the jungle to see some monkeys what was great. We then crossed the lagoon by zipline and canoe which was great. After a delicious lunch at a families house, we got to swim in a Cenote. The entire day was amazing and not at all touristy like some other tours have felt so far.

Absolutely loved this tour! I’ve done another tour with Mexico Kan Tours back in 2018 and had an amazing time - so I knew I wanted to return to this tour company again for this trip and they did not disappoint. For this one, we traveled with Paloma and Arturo was our driver for the day and the trip was just awesome. A nice small intimate group. Paloma was super knowledgeable and shared so much amazing information throughout the time in Coba about the Mayan people, followed by leading us on an epic adventure to see spider monkeys, howler monkeys, zip lining, canoeing, jumping 7 ft into a cenote and a delightful homemade lunch with a local family. The perfect day. So many memories and an amazing experience. The vibes were chill and easy going. Arturo was an awesome driver on some tough terrain. I look forward to returning again in the future.

Trip with Lea! It was so wonderful. Beautiful Nature and the Perfect Guide. She did so well, in two different languages (German and English)! You can really see that it’s important for her that everybody has a good time. We saw many Monkeys and birds. Perfect day!

What an incredible day out! Our guide, Carlos, and the driver were friendly and super welcoming from the outset. We were picked up on time from our hotel in Akumal in a comfortable bus and began our journey to Coba. Carlos was full of knowledge about the architecture, Mayan beliefs and rituals, and the surrounding nature and his passion for it all was evident. We picked up bikes and cycled around the site passing fascinating structures, birds and trees! It was a great way to get around. The site wasn’t busy as we were there early enough to beat the crowds. Our next stop was the Mayan community and spider monkey reserve which was great fun. We canoed over a stunning lagoon to the jungle where we did a short trek to spot spider and howler monkeys (and a large spider…). We then took the zip-line back across the lagoon to our starting point. We were the only people there and our guides were lovely. Next was a delicious lunch with a Mayan family where I attempted to make a tortilla by hand. Not sure my effort was served though!! And a tour of the animals the family have saved, care for and teach the local children about to help protect nature. This included the Mexican stingless bees where we tried some yummy honey. Last stop was a very quiet and incredibly beautiful cenote to cool off. The trip was well organised, off the beaten path, communication was faultless, great itinerary and the people we met were fantastic. Carlos was an excellent guide and lovely guy. Would definitely recommend for families with slightly older children or couples.

Lots of history and learning.. The pictures do no justice to the ruins. Very interesting history on these and how they were made and why, which helps explain where the Mayans are today I had no idea the language was still well and alive with some who only speak Mayan (no resemblance to anything I've heard and I speak 3 languages). Cenotes are my new life's ambition. I have been to onsens in Japan and they have qualities that make them healthy for you also. Cenotes are swimmable and there are so so many Wonderful meal home cooked, Carlos and Axle Rose were clearly having as much fun as we were. I would go again with them. We asked so many questions and Carlos is very knowledgeable and you can see he has not lost his love and interest for this tour kind of life

The whole day was a wonderful experience. We did so many interesting things that it’s hard to say what was best, but seeing the spider monkeys, ziplining and’s swimming in the cenote was incredible. Our hosts Paloma and Pablo were the best! From the history and knowledge they shared, their friendly and fun attitude, they really made this experience so worth it. I would do another tour with them and this company again.

This was by far the most phenomenal experience for us while in Tulum. We absolutely adore our guides, Pablo and Paloma. The tour was the perfect combination of history, archaeology, outdoor activities and connection with the Mayan community. I cannot recommend this tour and these guides enough. Plus Paloma’s cookies were amazing! 12/10

Iber was an awesome tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Also a great camera man. I enjoyed every bit of the tour. The Mayan dinner was amazing!! Tortillas made right in front of us, they were so delicious.
